Sam Cuccia – CEO / Founder

Starting right out of college, Sam jumped into telecom in early ‘88, and has not looked back since.  Sam worked successfully for 11 years in all aspects of carrier sales, from ground floor rep to upper level sales manager in both direct and indirect channels with companies such as RCI Long Distance, Metromedia/ITT Communications, West Coast Telecom (purchased by Frontier) and finally, with Digital Network Inc.  Whether it was small carriers or large, Sam saw the huge gap that existed between client need and carrier offerings, as competition started entering the market in huge waves.  With the telecom act of 1996, this became even more apparent, and Sam felt the need to start a solutions based company that was client-focused, and carrier neutral.  Hence, New World was born in 1999.  Bringing over 23 years of industry experience to the team, Sam’s focus is on maintaining a culture that is servant-based, focused on need (both in and outside the company) and communicating the mission and vision to vendors, partners and most importantly our valued clients.  Sam is passionate about living out his faith in all areas of his life, and enjoys time spent with family on the beach, golf, and serving along like-minded friends.  Sam resides in McKinney, TX with his beautiful wife of 10 years, Kelli, and precious 4 year old girl, Tara.

Dan Dumler – Sr. Technical Consultant

Dan likes to say that he was born into telecom as his Dad was a lifelong employee of AT&T.  Growing up in telecom, he was introduced to the concepts at a very young age.  Officially, Dan started his career in telecom in 1982, where he served as Technical Services Manager for small firm that designed and manufactured carrier grade switching systems for the nation’s first telecom resellers.   It was here that Dan learned the core design, engineering, and network fundamentals that continue to be the basis for today’s complex systems and networks.
After the breakup of AT&T in 1984, Dan moved into carrier operations, where he served for 23 years as the VP of Operations for a multi-region CLEC and Internet Service Provider.   In this role, Dan was responsible for all facets of the network including hardware selection and procurement, wholesale carrier negotiations, network engineering and operations, network control center operations, and back office systems and support.    For most of these years, Dan was a student of technology, but is also a firm believer in the “keep it simple” mentality.  As such, he brings pragmatic leadership to complex technical solutions.
Dan is based in York, PA where he enjoys spending time with Nina, his wife of 23 years, and with his four girls, Jessica, Stephanie, Jami, and their golden retriever Lexie.   When not spending time with the family, Dan enjoys racing sailboats on the Chesapeake Bay and beyond.

Brad Collins

Brad Collins – Director of Business Development

Brad grew up in the DFW area and brings 19 years of sales and sales management experience to New World.  Brad graduated with honors with a technical sales degree from Texas A&M in 1992 and has been in technical sales and sales management ever since.  He has worked with a wide range of companies from medium sized firms to closing large accounts like EDS (now HP), Fedex Kinko’s, Greyhound, and JP Morgan Chase, to name a few.  He has been in business development selling national VOIP/Cisco rollouts, software ,and most recently telecommunications during his career.  After realizing his heart to serve others was aligned with New World’s vision, Brad joined the team and enjoys developing relationships with clients and referral partners.  In his downtime, Brad enjoys spending time with family, playing golf, doing sprint triathlons, biking and serving in church/ministries.

Steve Fleming-Manager-Operations and Partner Support

Steve hails from the beautiful state of Colorado and brings 25+ years of executive and operational experience to the NWC team.  He loves helping businesses grow.  In addition to building a network of fitness facilities and the largest team-development center in the U.S., Steve has led companies in the logistics, technology and financial sectors.  While consulting with the New World, Steve caught a vision and a love for what Sam Cuccia was trying to create.  A short time after that, Steve joined the company as the Operations Manager.  He enjoys being involved in the lives of his family, studying Scriptures and playing tennis.  Steve and his wife of 27 years reside in Richardson, TX and have four grown children (Zach, Alexis, Stephanie and Holly).
